Create a Document from a Document Template

Creating a document from a template

Besides creating a new blank document or with an existing file, you can also create a document from a template.

  1. Click on Documents on the left side of your screen. This will bring you to the Document Home page.

  2. Click the green + button to create a new document.

  3. On the right side of the screen, fill in the required information.

  4. Add Document Title.
  5. Add Document Description: Add details about the document.
  6. Under Document Info select the type of the document. Click the box for examples.
  7. Select the Sub Type of your Document.
  8. Add the Role of Creator (required)
  9. Under Document Type, choose Template Document.

  10. Click Create New Document.
  11. Click on one of the templates under My Templates or Shared With Me. The document will open automatically.
