Create a Document with an Existing File
Creating Documents with Existing Files
Besides creating a new blank document or a document from a template, you can also create a document with an existing file.
- Click on Documents on the left side of your screen. This will bring you to the Document Home page.
- Click the green + button to create a new document.
- On the right side of the screen, fill in the required information.
- Add Document Title.
- Add Document Description: Add details about the document.
- Under Document Info select the type of the document. Click the box for examples.
- Select the Sub Type of your Document.
- Add the Role of Creator (required)
- Under Document Type, choose Upload Existing File.
- Click Create New Document.
- Drag and drop your existing file into the field.
Note: The document will create and auto save.
