Creating Documents with Existing Files

Besides creating a new blank document or a document from a template, you can also create a document with an existing file.

  1. Click on Documents on the left side of your screen. This will bring you to the Document Home page.
  2. Click the green + button to create a new document.
  3. On the right side of the screen, fill in the required information.
  4. Add Document Title.
  5. Add Document Description: Add details about the document.
  6. Under Document Info select the type of the document. Click the box for examples.
  7. Select the Sub Type of your Document.
  8. Add the Role of Creator (required)
  9. Under Document Type, choose Upload Existing File.
  10. Click Create New Document.
  11. Drag and drop your existing file into the field.

Note: The document will create and auto save.
