DocuWalk Desktop View

Upon activating a new individual or organizational account, the system takes the user to the home page with the left and top menu bars.

Left Menu Bars
1. Profile photo - Upon registration and activation of the individual or organizational account, the user may upload a photo. It will be displayed in the upper left side corner of the screen.

2. Documents - All documents that require acknowledgement will be displayed in the Documents screen in a card view or list view. Under the documents screen you can find the:

  • Center: Document List - all contracts documents are displayed in a card or list view, which is sortable and searchable.
  • Above: Create New Document - creating a document can be done by clicking the following buttons: New Document (top) or Green Box
  • Right: Miscellaneous functions such as:
    • Chosen Document details- a quick overview of a chosen document
    • Attachments - uploaded files that the user attached to the document
    • Users - a list of participants of a chosen document
    • Chat/Message - a chat/message section to facilitate communication between participants who have permission to chat, and view history of the chat. 

3. Contracts - Contracts that requires negotiation and signature to multiple parties will be displayed in the Contract Screen in a card view or list view.
  • Center: Contract List - all contracts are displayed in a card or list view, which is sortable and searchable.
  • Above: Create New Contract - creating a document can be done by clicking the following buttons: New Contract (top) or Green Box
  • Right: Miscellaneous functions such as:
    • Chosen Contract details- a quick overview of a chosen contract
    • Attachments - uploaded files that the user attached to the contract
    • Users - a list of participants of a chosen contract
    • Chat/Message - a chat/message section to facilitate communication between participants who have permission to chat, and view history of the chat. 

4. Templates - Upon entering the Templates screen, all templates that are granted access to or created by a user will be displayed on the page.
It is sorted by most recent as a default, in the following two separate sections for:

      • My Templates - Templates created by the user are categorized into:
        • Document Templates 
        • Contract Templates
        • A new folder can be added by the user which he can rename
      • Shared with Me - Templates shared by other user are categorized into two:
        • Documents Templates
        • Contract Templates
Top Menu Bars

1. Settings
    • Once an account is activated, the user can review and change information in the Settings section.
      • For Individual Accounts: This is where the user can set up or the rest of information:
        • Personal information - Upload profile photo, update personal information and create or upload signature
        • Security - Change your password here
        • Manage Signature - Create or upload your e-signature
        • Notifications - Choose how you receive notifications from DocuWalk.
      • For Organizational Accounts: If a new user chooses to register an account for his/her organization such as a private company, a state government, a college, an association or a not-for-profit business, similar to an individual account, the system will prompt a user to register which subsequently triggers a multi-factor authentication process before the Organization Account gets activated. The system will then take the user to the Organization Information section of Settings. In the administrator dashboard, you can find the following: 
        • Organizational Information 
        • Manage Organizational Users -Invite a new user or an existing user to attach to an organization via an email and/or SMS invite. The administrator may also change the user role, remove the user or recover user.

2. Alarm Bell

    • System notifications through the Alarm bell (which is also sent through an email notification) are used for alerts such as status change, new invitation, new party join, new document/contract submission, new comments, revised documents, new messages in chat and so forth.

3. Submenu or Nine Square Menu

    • Add User - Inviting a user via “Add User” is also a common function when any party in the process, who has a permission to invite another user, requires another party’s participation.
    • Edit User - Enables a user to further modify a user’s access, signature required flag, or remove a user access to a document/contract.
    • Save Template - Save existing contract or document as a template
    • Download -Download to one of the available document types, e.g., PDF.
    • Share - Participating users can share to a new user a through view share.
    • Delete - Delete the entire contract or document.
