How do I use my own signature in DocuWalk?

Using a personal or custom signature in DocuWalk

In DocuWalk, many people desire to use their own personal signature rather than the option for an autogenerated signature. This makes signing documents more personal and similar to paper documents. Following the instructions below, it is simple and easy to upload your personal signature into DocuWalk.

To upload a personal signature we require that the signature be in one of the following file formats:  jpg, png, or .gif file.

You can upload your own signature into DocuWalk several ways:

  • You can scan your signature using a scanner and save as a jpg, png, or gif file
  • You can take a photo of your signature using a camera or phone.
  • You can take a screenshot of your signature (screen grab or capture)

PLEASE NOTE: Before uploading a scan or photo of your signature into DocuWalk you must eliminate everything but your signature by cropping the photo or scan. It is important that when you upload the signature into DocuWalk that it includes only the signature with as little additional space around it. The tighter the box crop is around your signature the better the signature will appear in DocuWalk. If you do not crop the photo or scan, the signature will not upload properly and the white space will appear instead of the scanned signature after uploading to DocuWalk.

Once you have the signature saved as one of the above files, you can either tap on the Drag Signature Here and choose the signature file that you saved OR you can grab the signature with your mouse pointer and drag it to the Drag Signature Here area.

You will see your signature previewed. If you are satisfied with your signature upload click on Update Signature
