Using a personal or custom signature in DocuWalk
If you want to use your own personal signature rather than an autogenerated one you need to upload an image of your signature into our platform. The image must be in one of the following file formats: jpg, png, or .gif file.
You can upload your own signature into DocuWalk several ways:
- You can scan your signature using a scanner and save as a jpg, png, or gif file
- You can take a photo of your signature using a camera or phone.
- You can take a screenshot of your signature (screen grab or capture)
PLEASE NOTE: Before uploading a scan or photo of your signature into DocuWalk you must eliminate everything but your signature by cropping the photo or scan. It is important that when you upload the signature into DocuWalk that it includes only the signature with as little additional space around it. The tighter the box crop is around your signature the better the signature will appear in DocuWalk. If you do not crop the photo or scan, the signature will not upload properly and the white space will appear instead of the scanned signature after uploading to DocuWalk.
Once you have the signature saved as one of the above files, click on the gear icon in the left sidebar that takes you to your Settings page.
Click the Manage Signature option on the right hand side of the page.
It will take you to your Signature page. On the right where it says Upload Signature choose the option to either Drag Signature Here or tap on the box to open your files where you can select the image you want. Once your signature has uploaded you will see a preview. If you are satisfied click on Update Signature.
You will receive a Success message on the screen: Success: Your Signature profile was updated.
